Started from July 2007, all branches ceased using straw and chopstick jackets. Individual branches also started implementing their own water and power saving measures.
Moreover, all branches have partnered with licensed used oil processing plants in collecting and processing cooked oil and fat. Some branches have even joined the oil refining scheme to help turn toxic waste oil into useful, environmental-friendly bio-fuel. Air pollution can hence be further reduced.
